INIMAHSUMEDANG
Dengan mengusung konsep Desa Wisata Gastronomi Hanjeli, Desa Sukajadi Kecamatan Wado mewakili Kabupatem Sumedang pada ajang One Village One Story (OVOS) yang digelar oleh Yayasan Duta Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Indonesia (YDPDKI) dan Ditjen Kebudayaan pada Kemendikbudristek RI.
One Vilage One Story bertujuan menggali potensi suatu desa yang memiliki kemajuan budaya, potensi industri dan lainnya. Kebetulan dari Desa Sukajadi mengangkat potensi Hanjeli yang merupakan salah satu pengganti pangan padi yang cukup bagus dan berkembang.
Menurut ketua tim juri dari YDPDKI Tiwi Wartawani, dengan didukung berbagai seni dan budaya yang tumbuh dan berkembang di Desa Sukajadi, mendasari Desa Sukajadi menjadi terpilih sebagai Finalis di One Village One Story
“Yang kami nilai adalah semangatnya, kemampuannya untuk menjadi berprestasi. Makanya, Desa Sukajadi kami angkat menjadi salah satu finalis di One Village One Story ini,” katanya.
Terakhir Tiwi menerangkan, hasil Lomba OVOS akan diumumkan nanti di Tahun 2023. Hasil lomba akan diumumkan setelah visitasi selesai di Desember 2022, akan diadakan penganugerahan dan festival OVOS.
Adapun perkataan dari Wakil Bupati Sumedang H. Erwan Setiawan, saat menghadiri kegiatan tersebut, berharap potensi wisata gastronomi ini terus dijaga dan dikembangkan. Jangan berhenti pada seremonial saja. Perlu ekspos lebih besar sehingga masyarakat mengetahui bahwa di Desa Sukajadi ini ada Desa Wisata Gastronomi.
