INIMAHSUMEDANG
Di Kecamatan Jatinangor, masih ada grup-grup musik karinding. Mereka membuat wadah satu tahun lalu dengan nama Komunitas Karinding Jatinangor (KKJ). Nah jadi, untuk wargi Sumedang yang berada di Jatinangor, yang ingin belajar Karinding, bisa ke komunitas tersebut.
Grup karinding atau sanggar yang tergabung pada Komunitas Karinding Jarinangor yaitu; Sanggar Jaga, Sanggar Sri Banyu Wening, Pancaraksa, Paskala, Tatar, Puspa Kencana, dan Kapurba.
Pada hari Minggu kemarin, 29 Mei 2022, mereka mengadakan pagelaran, dalam rangka Milangkala ke-1 Komunitas Karinding Jatinangor di Gedung Smk Padjajaran, Desa Sayang, Jatinangor, Sumedang. Kegiatan dimulai dari pukul 09.00 WIB dihadiri juga oleh DPRD Kab. Sumedang, para pupuhu dan budayawan.
Kegiatan tersebut untuk melestarikan salah satu alat musik tradisional Sunda yakni Karinding, sekaligus ajang silaturahmi para pelestari budaya Sunda khususnya di kabupaten Sumedang.
Peserta yang hadir pada acara milangkala tersebut selain dikhususkan untuk para pecinta budaya sunda, masyarakat umum pun hadir untuk melihat pertunjukan-pertunjukan oleh komunitas Karinding secara gratis.
