Pada gelaran West Java Investment Summit (WJIS) 2022, Jabar menawarkan proyek investasi senilai Rp59,64 untuk dua sektor, yaitu ketahanan pangan food security dan energi terbarukan renewable energy.
"Harapan saya ini menjaga konsistensi investasi di Jabar yang sudah lima tahun berturut-turut _urutan_ satu dalam jumlah investasi," kata Ridwan Kamil dalam Pembukaan West Java Investment Summit 2022 di Hotel Trans Luxury, Kota Bandung, Rabu (5/10/2022).
WJIS 2022 yang mengangkat tema “Investasi Hijau: Ketahanan Pangan & Energi Terbarukan” digelar sebagai upaya mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi Jabar melalui dorongan investasi.
Bupati Dony Ahmad Munir menghadiri acara pembukaan West Java Investment Summit (WJIS) tersebut. Dilansir dari sumedangkab.go.id Proyek tersebut di antaranya 10 proyek food security, 17 proyek energi baru terbarukan dan lima proyek pemerintah dengan total nilai mencapai Rp59,73 triliun. “ Pak Gubernur Ridwan Kamil bersama para kepala daerah menawarkan proyek investasi di Jabar. Banyak perwakilan calon investor berbagai negara hadir, seperempat dari kekuatan ekonomi itu adalah investasi,” kata Bupati Dony.
Menurutnya, sebagai Bupati Sumedang ia ikut proaktif melakukan door to door menemui investor. Tahun 2021, Sumedang yang berhasil menggaet investor dengan nilai investasi mencapai Rp 4 triliun. “Masuknya investasi ini membuka banyak lapangan kerja dan mendorong peningkatan kesejahteraan rakyat,” katanya.
Disebutkannya, untuk WJIS 2022 ini, Sumedang menawarkan beberapa proyek investasi di antaranya PLTA Wado. “Saat pembukaan WJIS, Sumedang juga meraih penghargaan sebagai kabupaten The Best Goal of Point Invesment. Sumedang menjadi kabupaten dengan sistem pemerintahan berbasis elektronik terbaik dan menjadi kabupaten tertinggi ke-1 di Jabar yang menerbitkan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB),” katanya
