Perkembangan informasi digital begitu pesat dewasa ini, bahkan teknologi mutakhir telah diluncurkan yakni teknologi artificial intellegence (AI) atau kecerdasan buatan.
Hal ini rupanya dilirik oleh pemerintah kabupaten (pemkab) Sumedang sebagai sebuah media yang mampu menjembatani kepentingan pemerintah dengan warganya, serta mempermudah kinerja pemkab itu sendiri.
Bupati Sumedang periode 2018-2023 bapak Doni Ahmad Munir memiliki lompatan program dari kepala daerah sebelumnya. Terkhusus di bidang teknologi digital.
Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE) Sumedang merupakan yang terbaik nasional dengan indeks 3,84.
Pada 3-4 Mei lalu World Bank mengundang Pemda Sumedang untuk mempresentasikan layanan SPBE, dalam acara GovTech Global Forum yang diselenggarakan di Washington DC.
Pelayanan data tersebut meliputi pemerintah ke pemerintah (G to G), pemerintah ke warga (G to C) dan pemerintah ke pelaku bisnis (G to B).
